Returns & refunds

A return starts with the reason, condition and timing.

Contact us promptly before sending furniture back. Large, assembled and special-order items need to be assessed before return transport is arranged.

Defects are assessed separatelyA manufacturing fault or wrong item is not treated as a simple change of mind.

1. Return requests

No fixed change-of-mind return period was included in the client-supplied public business details. Contact Livespace Furniture promptly before sending furniture back so eligibility, condition and the correct return method can be confirmed for the order.

This website policy does not limit rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

2. What may be eligible

A standard-stock product may be considered for return where it is complete, has not been damaged or materially altered after delivery, and can reasonably be resold as new after inspection.

Contact us before returning the item so the correct return location and handling method can be confirmed.

3. Product condition

For a change-of-mind return, the customer is responsible for taking reasonable care of the product while deciding whether to keep it. Furniture that has been used extensively, stained, scratched, modified, drilled, cut, damaged through poor handling or exposed to unsuitable conditions may not qualify for a full change-of-mind refund.

Reasonable inspection is different from extended use. Where packaging can be retained without preventing inspection, keep it until the decision is final.

4. Products that are normally not returnable for change of mind

  • made-to-order, customised, engraved, cut-to-size or specially sourced items;
  • products ordered to a customer-approved specification, colour, finish or configuration that is not standard stock;
  • clearance or final-sale items where that status was clearly disclosed before purchase;
  • products materially damaged, altered or misused after delivery;
  • items that cannot reasonably be resold for hygiene, safety or condition reasons after customer use.

These exclusions do not remove rights relating to goods that are faulty, wrongly supplied or materially different from what was agreed.

5. Faulty, damaged, incomplete or wrong products

If the product is faulty, arrives damaged, is incomplete or is not the product agreed, contact us as soon as reasonably possible. Provide the order reference, a description of the issue and clear photographs or video where useful.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable rights, the appropriate remedy may be repair, replacement, completion of missing parts, exchange, price adjustment or refund.

6. How to request a return

  1. Contact us before moving or sending the furniture.
  2. Provide the order or quotation reference and product name.
  3. Explain the reason for the request and when the item was delivered.
  4. Provide photographs where condition or damage is relevant.
  5. Wait for the return method or inspection arrangement to be confirmed.

7. Return transport and collection

Furniture often requires suitable transport. For change-of-mind returns, the customer is normally responsible for return transport unless we agree otherwise. Do not use an unsuitable courier or send large furniture without confirming the receiving location.

Where the return is due to our confirmed supply error or a qualifying product defect, transport responsibility will be assessed as part of the remedy.

8. Inspection after return

Returned goods may be inspected for identity, completeness, condition, accessories, use, damage and any issue reported. A refund or exchange decision may wait until the item is reasonably inspected.

If a change-of-mind item has lost value because of handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it, that may affect the amount refundable where permitted by law.

9. Exchanges

An exchange depends on stock availability and any price difference. If the replacement item costs more, the balance must be paid before release. If it costs less, any approved difference is handled with the return settlement.

10. Refund method and timing

Approved refunds are processed using an appropriate method after the return or issue has been assessed. We may request information reasonably required to verify the original transaction and the correct recipient.

Bank or payment-provider processing times are outside our direct control after a refund has been issued.

11. Cancellations before delivery

Contact us immediately if you need to cancel. A standard-stock order may be easier to cancel before picking or dispatch. Special-order, sourced or customised furniture may already involve supplier or production commitments, so cancellation terms can differ.

12. Corporate, quotation and purchase-order transactions

Accepted quotations, purchase orders and project agreements may include specific cancellation, substitution, deposit or return terms. Those transaction-specific terms should be read together with this policy and take priority where they directly address the same issue.
